Here's some ways to fight back against the Trump administration's actions:
defiance.org was started by Miles Taylor (a former official targeted by Trump) and Xander Schultz (founder of Defeat by Tweet and One for Democracy). The project pours money into direct actions to defy Trump and also track what the regime is doing. The group (which you can become a member of) moves quickly as far as causes they fund - it might be peaceful protests one month, or helping an urgent legal defense fund the next. One new effort defiance.org is supporting (as of February, 2026) is Fight Against Federal Overreach (FAFO).
Defiance.org also has a companion site, defiance.news, which is a Substack the features a daily stream of political news updates.
5 Calls makes it super easy to find your rep, review important issues affecting your area, and then call/email your rep with scripted templates to help you communicate your concerns.
The CitizensImpeachment site has a weekly action, which at the time of this writing (February 2, 2026) is to impeach Bondi and Trump.
Outside of that, use this Web app to find your rep for any of the upcoming days of lobbying. Then look under the Take Action heading on the CitizensImpeachment site to use one of their predefined email templates to write (or call or visit) your rep and demand change!
This Instagram reel points out that if you call the TTY/TDD number for the DOJ, you'll be forced to "hear" scams and/or ads and never get connected to an actual DOJ rep.

Script idea #1:
Instagram user mainandvine suggests this potential script for that conversation:
"Why are you protecting child rapists? Do your job, or step down."
Script idea #2:
Instagram user megsstalter shares another script idea:
"Hello, my name is [your name].
I'm calling to demand the immediate release of all Epstein files under the Transparency Act. The Department of Justice must stop redacting and protecting the names of abusers. So far, Donald Trump has been mentioned 38,000 times in the files, and yet no action has been taken, and I'm asking why. These files should be released in full now, and accountability should apply to everyone named.
You're not protecting the public. You're not protecting survivors. You are protecting abusers - and some of those abusers are currently in office.
Thank you."
federaloverreach.org (FAFO) is "a national coalition of District Attorneys collaborating to ensure federal officials are held accountable when they exceed their lawful authority." FAFO's press release describes the organization as:
"...an effort to hold federal officials accountable when they exceed their lawful authority, especially in states around the country where federal agents are being surged. The coalition launches amid growing concerns about warrantless entries, unlawful detentions, and coercive enforcement tactics by federal agents, and it's intended to ensure that constitutional limits on federal power are actively enforced through lawful institutions."
You can sign up to receive status updates of the fight, and/or support the cause financially.
The No sleep for ICE movement encourages you to boycott Hilton hotels, which are making money off of kidnapping your families and neighbors. This movement has gotten 4 Hilton hotels to stop housing ICE.
Marriott also houses ICE agents, and you can use this Google doc template to write them and express your displeasure.
You can download some graphics for your socials to support these efforts. Here's a sample graphic:
ResistAndUnsubscribe.com features subscription-driven consumer tech companies they have identified as having huge influence over the national economy and our president.
As some background, the site states that "Today, the Trump administration is escalating ICE enforcement...with the help of corporations that provide the data, infrastructure and logistics to make it all possible."
It goes on to share that small and coordinated changes that can move GDP (Gross Domestic Product - the total monetary value of all final goods and services produced within a country's borders in a specific time period). Because when GDP moves, the Trump administration moves.

Instagram user rbreich offers this reel to provide more context on why it's important to discontinue supporting services that support ICE. Companies that have been awarded government contacts can be searched at usaspending.gov.
Alternatives to consider
You might look at the list above and think, "GULP...it would be hard to switch! I've had these services for years. I rely on them!" We get it. So we put together this list of alternatives (work in progress):
